ABOUT
If there’s one thing we all know about mammoths, it’s that they’re big. Unfortunately that doesn’t make their remains any easier to locate when you have just one month to search 13 million square miles of untamed Siberian tundra. This documentary follows paleontologist Trevor Vale and archaeologist Tim King (think of a collision between Indiana Jones and rock band Mastodon) as they attempt to do just that. Along the way they face battles with local gangs, the environment and superstitious locals, in their quest to become the first Western scientists to get their hands on a frozen mammoth.
